Villa Julie, an impressive listed building, was built in 1903/1904 in Weyher on the southern Weinstraße. The building is classified as Historicist, although Art Nouveau elements are already evident both on the façade and in the interior.
In 2022/2023, extensive renovation and modernization work was carried out under the leadership of the architectural firm “tnt architektur landau” and in close coordination with the monument protection authority. In addition to the necessary modernization work, the main concern was to preserve the charm of the listed building and accentuate its architectural features.
Villa Julie is located – slightly elevated – in the middle of a property of approximately 2,800 square meters. The main entrance is on Oberdorfstraße. A path winds through a park with very old trees, some of which date back to the construction phase, to a beautiful sandstone staircase that leads to the villa’s vestibule.
The building has three floors; The first floor is occupied by the owners, the second floor is permanently rented.
